1. Los Angeles -Atwater Village
North of hipster central Silver Lake, in Atwater there is a rising crop of slow food restaurants, high-end bakeries and organic stores just to name a few of the exciting happenings in this neighborhood. 2. Chicago- New West Loop
This once gritty neighborhood west of the Kennedy Expressway is now a hot destination for foodies and social media types. Check out the Girl & The Goat where Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard earns rave revues for the braised beef tongue. The local brews are also a favorite but the hottest ticket is still Grant Achatz's new venture, Stop at the Fix, where they stock hard-to-find unisex brands. Stay at the Sax Chicago Hotel. It offers slick design and a sexy crowd in the lobby.
3.New York City - Far West Chelsea
Last year's extension of the High Line brought a new crowd to this warehouse-studded pocket of the West side where galleries have replaced auto shops and passe nightclubs. During the summer eat at their gourmet food trucks and skate at the synthetic ice rinks. Fun!
4.London; London Fields
Visit London Fields if you love to listen to cockney accents, bump shoulders with design-industry locals and mingle with fashion students hosting BBQs in the expansive park. It's definitely worth a visit.
5.Paris- Canal Saint-Martin
From dangerous to hip, this canal section of the 10th Arrondissement goes roguish on the weekend. Learn about the latest fashion trends by checking out the rakishly chic young people sitting along the canal wall lining the waterfront.
Sleep: Le Citizen Hotel or Antoine & Lili. Eat: Du Pain et Des Ideees or Philou. For your French food and art fix, you must visit Pointe`Phe`me`re. The restaurant shares a building with a working fire station and hosts a colorful selection of artists in residence and "interesting" performance art.
6. Moscow- Red October
Bolotny Island, the former home of the Red October Chocolate Factory houses cafes, galleries and clubs. This new hot spot is the place to be seen in Moscow.
